Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical 48's
Shift: Days, 7a-7:30p, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will accept 36hrs
Length: 13 Weeks
Must Be Flexible With Weekend Requirements, Weekend Requirement Will Be Based On Unit Needs. Travelers Must Be Able To Work The Weekends In Their Contract.
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
Requirements:

• IN license
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Medical Surgical experience
• Requires nurses with Med Surg experience, no previous Behavior Health/Psych experience is required
• BLS
• IV Start skillset preferred

• Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed

MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
IMPORTANT- Unit Information: Please note, this unit requires nurses with Med Surg experience, no previous Behavior Health/Psych experience is required, however, nurses must be okay with this population to be submitted. This unit is a secured medical unit. In order to be admitted to this unit, patients have a primary medical diagnosis but typically have a history of mental illness as well. They will be expected to care for patients who are in alcohol withdrawal, have a history of IV drug use, dementia, aggressive behaviors, and anything that a med/surg unit would care for.
