Skills
- Contract Compliance & Field Oversight
- Develop a complete understanding of contract plans and specifications Inspect field conditions to identify problems inaccuracies and potential cost-saving measures Take corrective actions as needed to resolve field issues Review subordinates' work for compliance with contract documents address deficiencies and implement corrective measures Project Scheduling & Coordination Develop and maintain the project master schedule using appropriate techniques scheduling software Collaborate with project management personnel to gather input ensure schedule accuracy Document Control & Change Management Manage document control processes including logging tracking new issue drawings contract documents Distribute updated documents to field teams ensure proper implementation Cost Forecasting & Financial Planning Prepare monthly cost projections using data from project management systems Develop quarterly cash flow projections support financial planning Operational Improvement Leadership Recommend improvements project operations including staffing methods procedures Serve managing project engineer coordinator across multiple projects Provide supervision on-the-job training junior engineers project staff Support manage the project team direct reports cross-functional personnel Safety Compliance Promote enforce company environmental health safety programs at the level Foster safety-oriented culture across all activities Qualifications Undergraduate degree Construction Management Construction Engineering or equivalent years experience Ability read analyze identify discrepancies engineering plans specifications contract documents Working knowledge controls terminology practices Proficiency Microsoft Word Excel Teams SharePoint Outlook Key Competencies Highly motivated passion excellence initiative Strong work ethic commitment job right first time Demonstrated integrity ethical decision-making Passion safety commitment zero-incident environment Excellent interpersonal written verbal communication skills Strong organizational time management abilities Team player ability work independently meet deadlines Other Requirements Regular reliable attendance Work productively meet deadlines timely Communicate interact effectively professionally supervisors employees others individually team environment Perform safely effectively Understand follow oral written instructions warning signs equipment use policies Work normal operating hours organize complete work given deadlines Overtime weekends required May different locations conditions vary
