    Job DescriptionSalary:

    TulsaConnect was formed in October, 2001, but its roots go back to April, 1996 with the founding of one of Oklahoma's first Internet companies. We have since grown to the largest Oklahoma-owned provider of Data Center and MSP services in the state – providing Co-location, Private Cloud, and MSP services to businesses of all sizes and types across 3 enterprise-class Data Centers.

    We are growing fast and are looking to expand our team of top IT professionals. While the below is a general job description, flexibility and adaptability are required.

    This position is for someone with many years of experience who can complete complex IT projects with minimal to no supervision. This is not an entry-level position.

    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Provide Tier 3 support for customer tickets in our trouble ticketing system.
    • Provide Tier 3 support for customer inbound phone calls to our support line.
    • Troubleshoot escalated / high level customer issues remotely and on customer premises.
    • Work with Solutions Manager to manage the new customer on-boarding process.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on new customer deployments.
    • Attend sales meetings when requested in technical advisor role.
    • Occasionally assist with installation of customer equipment in our Data Centers which may require lifting of heavy server equipment.
    • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule (required - typically once every 6 weeks)
    • Provision and deploy new physical and virtual server environments for clients.
    • Provide support for escalated alerts from our various server, network and facility monitoring systems.
    • Systems and process documentation.
    • Occasionally provide escort into our Data Center facilities to our Co-location customers.

    • Expert level server hardware experience (Dell PowerEdge)
    • Expert level experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. Hyper-V, VMware).
    • Expert level experience with Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, Group Policy, Security Groups, etc.)
    • Expert level experience in designing/troubleshooting production network environments (VLANs, ACLs, Layer2/3, Cisco, Juniper, Force10/Dell)
    • Expert level firewall setup, IPSEC VPN tunnels, design and implementation of zones/NAT/ACLs
    • Office 365 experience
    • Prior MSP experience a plus (RMM tools, Sentinel One, etc)
