Summary:

Responsible for supporting department processes byproviding excellent customer service as well as process and taskknowledge to other associates including but not limited to allinventory control transactions. Responsible for overseeing and/orcompleting tasks associated with inventory control such as scanningproducts, picking orders, and restocking par carts, inventorylocations, and point of use systems. Additional responsibilitiescan include receiving supplies, verifying data accuracy,re-ordering supplies. Responsible for troubleshooting criticalsupply issues.

Licensed for 100 beds, the hospital is a LevelIV Trauma Center general acute care facility offering completeMedical and Surgical Services including Pediatrics, Obstetrics andSkilled Nursing, as well as, Emergency, Intensive Care, Cardiac andComprehensive Diagnostic Services serving the resident of Kleberg,Brooks, Kennedy and southern Nueces counties.

CHRISTUS Spohn Kleberg Plaza houses the hospital'sbirthing services with modern, state-of-the-artlabor/delivery/recovery/postpartum rooms (LDRPs,) a nursery, theCissy Horlock Taub Women's Center (a diagnostic andeducation/resource center) and physician office suites. Outpatientrehabilitation services including occupational, and speech therapy,wound care, physical and aquatic therapy are offered at twoconvenient locations in Kingsville.

Responsibilities:

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUSCompetencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader ofLeaders.

• Perform Supply Chain Technician and SupplyChain Technician Senior tasks.

• Master INFOR modulesappropriately (according to assignment) including Par Specialist,Purchasing Receiver, Inventory Management, Warehouse Clerk, andMobile Supply Chain Mgmt.

• Provide critical thinkingskills related to tasks and operation to provide excellent serviceand lead required processes ensuring accuracy and policyrequirements.

• Troubleshoot critical supply orderissues and needs providing status, ETA and/or options communicatingwith leadership as necessary.

• Research options forproduct availability from alternate vendors, CHRISTUS facilities orexternal entities during critical outages. Set up transport asappropriate.

• Understand and review all Supply Chainand ancillary technology systems for appropriate action.

• Assist leadership to determine appropriate subs as neededby working with other MM staff, system leaders, and local clinicalstaff.

• Assist with Contract Launch Packet rollouts byproviding verification of process steps.

• Makeappropriate changes to pars as directed by leadership.

• Support supply chain and clinical staff with a high level ofproduct knowledge.

• Perform receiving functions andinterface with Procurement as assigned.

• Respond torequests from INR/RNI team.

• Provide excellentcustomer service.

• Communicate changes to customersand staff as appropriate.

• Knowledgeable of MS OfficeSuite/ Supply Chain Applications.

• Must meet deadlinesin fast-paced environments.

• Must be able to adapt todifferent situations while maintaining exceptional decision-makingskills.

• Must be able to communicate effectively, bothverbally and in writing.

• Other duties as assigned bymanagement.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalentpreferred.
• 3-4 years of relevant workexperience preferred.
  
• 2 years ofsupply chain experience preferred (IC, Procurement, Planning,Operations)
• 1 year of demonstrated computerexperience preferred.
• Medical product andequipment knowledge preferred.
• Hospital supplychain experience preferred.
