- Clean furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dust mops floors.
- Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms.
- Operates mechanical floor cleaners, polishers, and vacuums
- Wet mop rooms, halls, stairways, and public areas.
- Shampoos rugs and furniture.
- Cleans fixtures, tops or windows, door frames and high areas using a ladder.
- Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials.
- Moves furniture and other heavy objects as required.
- Could be asked to sets up chairs and tables, etc. for special events and folds and stores them after the event.
- Assists in hanging drapes and dividers and takes them down for cleaning.
- Removes waste and soiled linens from work area and places in specified bags or containers.
- Performs terminal cleaning procedures of patient rooms and prepares room for new occupant; follows isolation procedures in isolation rooms.
- Cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms.
- Participates in educational programs and in service meetings.
- Attends meetings as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Relevant previous experience is preferred, on-the-job training is provided.
Education: High School or equivalent preferred.
