- Responsible for the overall security operations in the absence of the Director of Public Safety
- Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
- Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
- Review, investigate, and implement corrective plans on all incident, medical, and surveillance reports to ensure departmental compliance with internal controls, policies, and all applicable regulations
- In the absence of, or when directed by the Director of Public Safety, perform system administration to the Electronic Key Control System
- Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB statewide voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as
- Assist in arrests or physically restraining a resistant individual as needed
- Support the overall integrity of gaming at the casino
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent with five years of law enforcement, security, or casino security-related experience is required
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to interact with a variety of people
- Must have flexible availability with scheduling, including shifts and days off
- Must be able to adapt and thrive in a fluid, high-stress, and fast-paced environment
- Must have outstanding organizational skills
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift
- Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight
- Requires manual dexterity to operate a keyboard
- Must be able to read, speak, and correspond in the English language
