    Description


    b19 Consulting is working with an established Power Delivery Consultancy to find a Senior Substation Project Engineer that comes from an electric utility background.

    Basic Qualifications:

    6+ years utility substation P&C design experience (15kV through to 500kV)

    Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

    Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship.

    Strong communication skills to coordinate with project engineers, designers and client representatives.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel & Word.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    7-15 years of substation engineering experience

    PE License or working towards

    AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bentley Descartes or Raster Design experience

    Proficiency with SEL or GE relays

    SCADA system & communications interface knowledge

    Relay settings/System Protection experience

    Substation lightning stroke shielding plan and grounding plan experience

    Software experience with ETAP, ASPEN, acSELerator, CYME

    Ability to lead a large portion or the entirety of a substation design project.
