- Review, process, and prepare daily/monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Manage and develop General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payroll staff
- Preparation and filing of various taxes and licenses
- Handle requests for information and data concerning accounting
- Review and manage fixed asset data
- Review financial information supplied by various departments for accuracy
- Complete special projects and reports as needed
- Review completed work by staff for accuracy
- Assist within the department for any and all duties as needed
- Perform other duties as asked by manager
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
- Advanced math skills

Typical physical / mental demands
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to complete financial reports and communicate with other employees. Ability to walk/stand and work 15% of shift walking a maximum of 1/2 mile. Ability to climb stairs to access area.

General Summary of Duties:
Manage all functions in the General Ledger to ensure that accounting records are performed and maintained in compliance with established regulations, policies and procedures.

Experience Requirements
Minimum two-three years in supervisory role within an accounting department. Minimum five years work experience in an accounting/finance related field. Must be able to obtain Gaming Registration. Pro-active work style with the ability to recognize and solve problems or issues as the arise.
Education Requirements
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of ADP, Infinium, and Stratton Warren helpful.
