- Perform basic laboratory testing
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Assist technicians and management with laboratory needs in their functions as required
- Assist with sample preparation, including weighing, measuring, and mixing chemicals or compounds as directed
- Operate laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, and spectrophotometers under the supervision of senior laboratory staff
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures, test results, and other data
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking laboratory supplies and chemicals
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all laboratory staff
- Adhere to quality control standards and procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing laboratory tasks
- Excellent Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate professionally with colleagues
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
- Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures at all times
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associates degree or certificate in laboratory science or related field preferred
- Previous laboratory experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
