    Job Description

    The warehouse inventory supervisor ensures the highest quality of work and for maximizing productivity and efficiency within the warehouse. Responsible for the receipt and management of third-party inventory, for maintaining adequate inventory levels used to fulfill orders, and for securing the warehouse and supervising employees. The warehouse inventory supervisor will also oversees the placement of product to maximize storage area and maintain a safe work environment. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Follows written and verbal instructions regarding completion of job duties.
    • Orients employees to the work area.
    • Trains, guides, and evaluates all warehouse employees as needed.
    • Educates warehouse employees on safety procedures and ensure these procedures are followed.
    • Ensures that all equipment is properly maintained.
    • Communicates with vendors regarding inventory levels and upcoming needs in a professional manner.
    • Continuously works to improve processes and make suggestions for productivity improvements.
    • Ensures that correct and adequate materials, supplies, tools, and properly functioning equipment is available.
    • Oversees schedules to ensure that contractual deadlines are met.
    • Holds group meetings each week to convey any pertinent information to other employees.
    • Maintains monthly progress notes on clients who are working under their supervision.
    • Utilizes basic computer skills to operate email and internet, as well as Microsoft Office to add information to established Word and Excel documents.
    • Works in an extremely busy environment utilizing above-average organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Works well under pressure while accurately maintaining satisfactory progress and meeting established deadlines.
    • Provides a high level of quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
    • All other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
    • Prior experience working in a warehouse setting preferred.
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
    • Must have forklift operator certification or have ability to be certified within ten (10) days of employment.
    • Must have current certification in CPR and First Aid at hire or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
    • Valid driver's license preferred.
    • Must have ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
    Additional Information
    • The normal work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Successful candidate must be willing and have the ability to adjust work hours and schedule to meet deadlines, including overtime as necessary.
