A medical center in the Hudson Valley is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their staff as a Behavioral Health Nurse Manager. In this role, the Behavioral Health Nurse Manager (RN) will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership for the Behavioral Health Department.

Responsibilities:

The Behavioral Health Nurse Manager (RN) will be responsible for:

• 24-hour accountability for the management and long-term planning of the patient care area
• Implementation of the nursing process.
• Staff development and enhancement of the quality of patient care specific to the age/development of the patient population and cost containment.
• Performing other duties, as needed

• 3+ years of experience in a Behavioral Health and/or Psychiatric role/setting
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) licensed
• Experience in an Inpatient setting
• Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory role
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills (written and verbal)

• Master's Degree in Nursing
