    Your job is more than a jobThe Financial Analyst analyzes financial data and designs and generates reports for the management's use in making operational decisions regarding new and existing programs.

    Your EverydayGENERAL DUTIESProvides analysis of financial data.

    Designs and generates reports for management's use in operational decision-making:Develops financial analysis of current operations including performing analyses to meet specified objectives.

    Develops financial feasibility analysis of programs and/or contracts under consideration for development.


    Provides reports to leadership teams:
    Assists in developing meaningful responsibility reports including maintaining/updating report format file.
    Generates/produces monthly reports in accordance with close schedule.
    Provides support to department leaders in investigating and providing meaningful explanations to monthly revenue and expense fluctuations.
    Uses various reporting systems and works with IFS to develop meaningful ad hoc reports.

    Assists in compiling units of service (I/P & O/P) for selected patient services cost centers on a monthly basis using reporting module.

    Maintains the appropriate database as directed.

    Assists in the annual budget process:
    Assists in the budget data collection and input of data into reporting system.
    Designs and generates reports for the budget process as directed.
    Generates performance of financial data based on varying assumptions used in the budget process as directed.
    Provides analysis of financial data from the General Ledger System and other systems as directed.
    Provides support to the department directors in preparing their annual budgets.


    Statistical Reporting:
    Compiles statistical reports, such as Key Operating Indicators and ratios for presentation to the senior management

    Survey Completion:
    Completes monthly, quarterly and annual surveys

    Special Projects:
    Volunteers for special projects on a routine bases to further develop breadth and understanding of hospital operations, including but not limited to assumption of other department members accounting duties when scheduling needs require assistance

    EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS2 years experience in data manipulation and analysisEDUCATION QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Systems Management or other related field
