    Description

    The Load builder is responsible for optimizing asset, resource and product utilization within established policies and procedures. They ensure a premium customer experience through delivery turn around windows.

    Your Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for creating daily workloads for Home Heat delivery drivers. Utilizing existing people and transportation resources to support building efficient & cost-effective loads through tracking daily performance in executing committed deliveries and meeting customers' expectations.
    • Team together with internal and external customers, and Dispatch Managers to meet KPI targets (safety, on-time delivery, meeting delivery windows, optimal deliveries, throughput).
    • With customer satisfaction & service at the forefront, manages relationships with customers as the first point of contact for any transportation issues or inquiries relating to supply, products, assets, and service interruptions (escalates as required).
    • Make decisions & recommendations around several assets required for seasonal fluctuations in business, weather & supply interruptions. Strategic planning is also required for making product spec changes & meeting demand during supply outages.
    • Record and reports on any runouts or discrepancies within the business.
    • Produce outcomes that demonstrate an understanding of financial impacts.
    • Develop ways to work more effectively and shares knowledge with others.
    • Drive efficiencies through research, analysis, and evaluation of relevant information, including pre and post deliveries.
    • Apply creative approaches to proactively address business issues to achieve aligned solutions.
