JOBPURPOSE:


Assists the physician in theperformance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.

Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenanceof it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoinginvasive cardiac procedures.

Able to provide direct and indirectcardiovascular clinical care during establishedprocedures.

Qualifications:


MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:

RCIS program graduateor a graduate of program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic orimaging.


MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:

1-year Healthcare Imaging,Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience. No experience required ifa graduate of an RCISprogram.


MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:

Based on healthcare experienced (seeabove) applicable license required. If a graduate of RCIS program,no license is required, however RCIS must be obtained within 24months of hire.


ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:

BCLS and ACLSRequired
