    Position:

    Senior Manufacturing EngineerLocation: Orangeburg, 29115A prime opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead technical projects at our clients state-of-the-art industrial plant.

    Our client is a division of a fortune 600 company that is an industry leader. This on-site role is based in the vibrant city of Orangeburg and does not offer a remote option.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Provide expert guidance in the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of manufacturing operations.

    Plan and lead projects to solve major production activities, product or process problems, and define new concepts and approaches in manufacturing operations.

    Conduct independent technical investigations applying complex technical principles.

    Evaluate test and production data, prepare technical analysis, and recommend manufacturing methods and processes to meet design objectives on new or improved products and/or processes.

    Coordinate complex technical matters relating to assembly drawing interpretation, Engineering Change Notices, rework, and manufacturing difficulties and specifications.

    Work closely with other technical support personnel and assign tasks to drafters and technicians, technical writers, engineering technicians, and machine shop personnel as required.

    Provide work leadership for junior-level employees.


    Qualifications:
    Our ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering and has a minimum of 5 years of related experience. We're seeking individuals with a profound understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Proficiency in analytical and CAD software is a must.

    Furthermore, you should possess expert knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing theory and design, as well as design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
