Job Title: Testing Technician - Building and Construction

About the Company:
Intertek is currently seeking a Testing Technician to join their Building & Construction team in their Green Tree, PA office.

Job Description:

Assist with field testing, building inspections, and lab testing
Opportunity for growth and development within the company
Basic construction or carpentry skills required
Company-provided vehicles for travel to customer sites
This role involves travel up to 50% of the time from Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Field testing projects, building inspections, and lab testing
Forensic investigations of building envelope failures
Communicate effectively with clients and project teams regarding observations and results
Prepare and submit accurate reports for all assigned projects
Provide project preparation, execution, data collection, and reporting
Interact professionally with clients and project teams

Requirements for Success:

High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree in a technical field preferred
Construction experience is a plus
Ability to learn building envelope systems and their installation means
Strong technical and communication skills
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office & Outlook)
Ability to travel up to 50%
Valid driver's license and reliable driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
