That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network DoD needs.As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your skills in network and computer systems to help support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries.
You'll troubleshoot and resolve network issues and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.You'll apply your knowledge in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.
Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you help optimize client operations and modernization.
Using your experience in software and hardware firewalls, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Grow your career with us as we help protect our clients' assets.5+ years of experience with networking hardware and software
5+ years of experience operating DoD networks
Experience with engineering data, voice, and video networks
Experience with network monitoring tools
HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or Bachelor's degree
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification
Experience maintaining a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks
Experience working with vendors, the government, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.Our people-first culture prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely.
