    Position Overview


    We are seeking a Vice President - Healthcare Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team, reporting directly to the Head of Healthcare Finance.

    This role entails overseeing the performance of our healthcare loan portfolio, with occasional involvement in underwriting new loans.

    The ideal candidate will independently manage the healthcare loan portfolio from inception to repayment and lead a team of portfolio managers and analysts.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain oversight of the healthcare portfolio, fostering relationships with borrowers, monitoring deliverables, and ensuring compliance with loan terms.
    • Analyze financial statements, borrowing base certificates, appraisals, and other reports to assess borrower creditworthiness and loan risks.
    • Propose solutions for portfolio concerns and negotiate terms for approval.
    • Manage loan extensions, amendments, and waivers, and collaborate with syndication partners.
    • Prepare risk assessments and credit monitoring reports.
    • Conduct underwriting for new healthcare loans as required.
    • Cultivate industry relationships and identify new loan opportunities.
    • Stay abreast of economic, financial, and legislative trends impacting healthcare lending.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 7-10 years of experience in credit analysis, loan underwriting, or portfolio management, preferably in healthcare finance.
    • Proficiency in financial statement analysis and Excel-based modeling.
    • Strong understanding of credit policies and procedures.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred.

    Salary Range:
    $180, $220,000.00
