    Job Summary:
    Rugs USA is seeking a Sr. Merchandising Analyst to execute reporting and provide assortment insights. This person will play a critical role in deriving business operations and purchasing decisions. Reporting to the Director of Merchandising, the Sr. Merchandise Analyst will be responsible for maintaining our assortment model, managing product lifecycles, and providing ongoing analysis. This role will be remote working on Eastern Standard Time.


    Essential Job Functions:
    Establish a deep understanding of Rugs USAs assortment offering (category, classification, and collection performance), while utilizing site, returns, and pricing metrics to clearly identify opportunities and articulate merchandise strategies Perform weekly reporting and ad hoc analysis to construct actionable takeaways and influence decisions for the Merchandising team Develop and maintain reports and presentations that speak to assortment KPIs Support communication efforts with internal cross-functional teams to address key initiatives, across inventory and assortment plans, discontinuations, and go-to-market strategies Maintain bottoms-up category budgets in adherence with organizational financial targets; provide forecasting input as assigned Research marketplace and competitor trends to aid in new product development decisions ensuring the product approach remains competitive and aligned with company objectives Work closely with D2C and B2B teams on materializing product recommendations to inform marketing placement and execution plans Qualifications: Bachelors degree required 3-5+ years experience in Planning or Merchandise Analytics, preferably within the eCommerce and Home Furnishings industry Proficiency with advance Excel functions and manipulating large datasets to create high-level KPI tables and charts Experience creating buy forecasts and the ability to explain methodology to key stakeholders Experience working with Qlik, SQL, GA4, is a plus Demonstrates curiosity and a growth mindset; supports innovation and intelligent risk-taking; and exhibits resilience in the face of setbacks Exhibits strong work ethic, team-first attitude, and customer-guided mindset Your Life and Career at Rugs
