    Description

    Position Purpose

    The CHEP Low Volume Representative (LVR) will be responsible for executing multiple less-than-truckload deliveries and collections daily. They will be responsible for route and volume optimization through the development of customer and internal support partnerships. They will be actively involved in the development and implementation of key growth components of the CHEP LVR Program. This will include partnering with multiple internal functions, building and executing project plans as well as leading teammates through training of new processes.

    Major/Key Accountabilities

    • Operate a CHEP owned box truck (or similar equipment) in compliance with all DOT Regulations and CHEP Safety requirements
    • Execute deliveries and collection of empty pallets (and possibly other assets) at locations provided by CHEP as efficiently as possible
    • Work with local customers on program compliance in order to drive efficiencies and increase collection volumes
    • Document all delivery and collection data (times, mileages, volumes, customer comments, etc.) and communicate to CHEP LVR support personnel
    • Visit potential collection locations to explain the CHEP LVR Program, gather data/information with the goal being adding locations to the Programs customer base
    • Develop, communicate and implement improved processes focusing on key performance areas within the LVR operations
    • Partner with internal resources to build and execute project plans
    • Serve as a resource and trainer for LVR Representatives on key performance areas

    Qualifications

    • Willing to lift 65 lbs. on a regular basis
    • Must have a clean driving record
    • Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card with no restrictions
    • Able to execute and optimize provided delivery/collection routes

    The salary range for this position is starting at $22.50 per hour. The actual pay offered will be determined based on relevant business and candidate factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, depth of experience, geographic location and business or organizational needs.
