Overview

Responsible for the physical therapy management of patients. Will report to Director of Rehab

We are looking for a physical therapist that can supplement and work on weekends to evaluate new Patient admissions.

• Provide physical therapy services tailored to the individual needs of patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in physical therapy.
• Ensure a compassionate and patient-centered approach in delivering care.
• Adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines in the provision of physical therapy services.

Responsibilities

Evaluates patients by utilizing specialized testing procedures and skills, incorporating data from the medical record and assessing. Manages the plan of care through consultation with MD. Set goals and develops appropriate treatment plans as determined from the outcome of the assessments. Evaluates patient's equipment needs. Incorporates discharge planning into treatment planning. Provides supervision and direction for the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and Rehab Aide.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved program in physical therapy and licensed as such by the P.T. Examining Committee of the CA Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
Active California Physical Therapy LicenseCurrent BLS certification from the American Heart AssociationCurrent California driver's licenseValid auto insurance

Preferred:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a physical therapistElectronic medical record input experience
