We are looking for a Controls Engineer/Robotics Engineer that will assist with electrical and software design where required, equipment start-up, debug, troubleshooting, throughput and enhancement of the Automated equipment at the Build Shop, and at the customer site.
*Authorized to work in Canada, United States and Mexico.
*Full time and long-term contract positions available.
Experience as a Controls Engineer and Robotics Engineer is an asset but not necessary.
Responsibilities and Duties
Controls Engineer
possess a thorough knowledge of PLC, HMI and Robotic integration and engineering.
Rockwell, Omron and Siemens architecture.
Electrical design, ACAD and EPLAN.
Software development.
Commissioning of new equipment.
Debug of existing equipment.
FIS, AVS, IOT, Industry 4.0
Robotics Engineer
possess a thorough knowledge of Robotic integration and engineering.
Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, Kawasaki or other.
Interference Zone configuration.
I/O Configuration.
Auto Debug and troubleshooting with PLC.
Material handling, Spot welding, and Sealing/Dispensing.
Vision system experience is a asset.
Cycle time reduction and throughput improvement
DCS/SafeOp/SafeMove
Mastering, TCP, OLP's and Payload.
Qualifications and Skills
Has previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry and can work in a team or independently to solve problems.
Fiat Chrysler (FCA), GM, Ford, Tesla, Rivian, Tier 1, Bodyshop Assembly and Build shop experience is an asset.
GCCH, GCCS2, and GRS certification is an asset.
