CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Corporate Development/M&A:
Lead M&A evaluation and diligence process, evaluating financial risks and opportunities

Financial Planning & Analysis:
Create and implement robust financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis
Provide key insights into financial trends, performance, and opportunities for improvement
Oversee the compilation of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

Business Intelligence:
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools
Create data visualizations to effectively convey key metrics and performance indicators

Corporate Strategy:
Develop and present key business strategies for the board of directors


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA preferred not required
At least 4 years of work experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction advisory services consulting (strong bias toward M&A backgrounds / transaction experience)
Strong understanding of financial statements and financial modeling (three-statement, LBO)
Experience creating operating models and company budgets
Experience in business intelligence software (Tableau, PowerBI, Domo, etc.) with a baseline understanding of SQL or equivalent
Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
Robust communication skills and executive presence, able to correspond effectively and present information succinctly to key stakeholders
Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
