    [What the role is]
    Lecturer in School of Informatics & IT (Diploma in Applied AI)

    This is a contract position.

    [What you will be working on]


    • To conduct lessons in the School premises or via synchronous online using software such as Microsoft Teams or collaborate.
    • To assess students' and adult learners learning through written test, practical and projects.
    • To develop new course materials, assessments, and e-learning materials, where required.
    • To coach and mentor full-time students and part-time adult learners to support their learning.
    • To work with TP's Continuous Education Centre Collaborate to analyse training needs and develop a comprehensive training roadmap in the area of software engineering and AI for interested organisations.
    [What we are looking for]


    • Relevant qualifications in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related studies
    Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in application development and/or artificial intelligence:

    o Proficient in Low Code/No Code App development, such as Power Apps and Power Automate, Dataverse, etc., with preference for Power Platform Certified or equivalent.

    o Proficient in Generative AI tools, application development, and LLM core skills.
    o Proficient in at least two of the programming languages (C#, JavaScript, Java, Python).

    Note:

    Relevant work experience in machine learning libraries such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, etc., will be advantageous but not mandatory.


    • Possesses passion and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths or adult learners
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
