About the Role:
GPS Capital Markets is looking for a Software Engineer to join our current Development (Devshack) team.
You will develop and maintain software, using primarily .NET products. Work with other team members on best practices and introduce innovative ideas. You will report directly to your Development Team Lead and the Directors of the development department.
This job will sit onsite in our South Jordan headquarters.
Requirements

Role Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional coding skill to completing features on the team backlog
Enhance and maintain existing applications
Help define team development and engineering best practices
Create new web applications, web services and mobile apps
Learn new technologies and pass along knowledge to teammates
Unit testing
Propose innovative ideas and challenge yourself and the team with new concepts

Required Qualifications:
Full-stack development and architecture skills
Fast, clean, efficient code implementation

In depth knowledge of at least three of the following:
.NET Core, SQL Server, React, LINQ and Entity Framework
Minimum 3 years of experience in .NET

Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of Domain Driven Design
Experience with Azure DevOps
Analytical skills

Self-Motivated
Strong Communication
