- The Process Engineer III works closely with Operations, Tooling, Engineering, Quality, and New Product Development departments in determining, implementing, and optimizing the production of quality parts as per customer requirements and Cambro's established manufacturing standards.
- Documents and follows up on mold repair requests.
- Conducts mold design reviews from preliminary to final sign-off and provides tool design recommendations.
- Serves as a back-up for Process Engineering Manager or Production Manager if necessary.
- Working knowledge of injection molding presses, support equipment, thermoplastics, rotational molding, compression molding, thermoset molding, thermoforming, and web molding.
- Knowledge of the systematic approach to injection molding.
- Understanding of statistical process control (SPC), statistical quality control (SQC), and design of experiments (DOE).
- Certificates, licenses, or registrations, as applicable in Systematic Molding, Paulson, RJG, Lean Six Sigma, and/or Kaizen
