- Assist in employee recruiting and hiring
- Coach and support new and existing team members
- Assist in training and development of new team members
- Ensure all team members adhere to company's policies and guidelines
- Inspire and encourage employees to ensure high level of morale
- Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
- Assist customers and troubleshoot customer service issues when necessary
- Ensuring store schedules, operational objectives and metric goals are met by employees
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable
- Assisting the manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategy
- Monitor inventory levels of product and supplies, place orders based off needs
- Work with vendors to make sure that product is replenished in a timely manner, as well as auditing deliveries to verify over ordering has occurred
- Complete operational inventory duties (i.e. write-offs, audits, price changes) in a timely manner
- Opening the store and complete paperwork duties
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a customer-focused environment
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willing to work a flexible schedule of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proven experience as Lobby/Assistant Manager, with at least 6 months experience
- Experience with recruiting and performance evaluation processes
- Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
- Good math skills with the ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets and sales statistics
- Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude
