CMM Programmer - Orange, United States - Southeast Texas HR

Southeast Texas HR is urgently recruiting for an experienced CMM Programmer for a world class client in Southeast Texas. As our CMM Programmer you will be using programming and operating CMM equipment to ensure excellent calibration and maintenance of machined parts. You will work with a team of experienced professionals who share your passion for excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a CMM Programmer who wants to further their knowledge in this field. This will be a direct hire position and pay will be $100,000 a year or more DOE. Relocation assistance will be available.

• Program and operate CMM equipment
  
• Troubleshoot and maintain CMM equipment to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
  
• Record inspection data and maintain inspection reports
  
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and CNC programmers to resolve issues
  
• Read and understand engineering prints
  
• Other duties as assigned
  

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
  
• 3 or more years experience as a CMM inspector/programmer
  
• Knowledge of inspection tools
  
• Knowledge of Metrology and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)
  
• Hexagon PC DMIS and aerospace inspection preferred
  
• 2 or more years experience as a Class 1 machinist or CNC operator preferred
  
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings including physical, drug screening, and background checks
