- Open facility, turn on lights, compressor, and glue. Ensure all equipment is operational, especially during initial 2 hours of production.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to keep machinery running smoothly. Prioritize the machines to avoid any delays.
- Adhere to regular maintenance schedule and property upkeep.
- Conduct daily preventative maintenance to enhance reliability, especially during employees' breaks and lunch hours.
- Implement best practices for facility maintenance and repairs. Stay updated on new technology to enhance maintenance processes.
- Maintain facilities, docks, and outdoor areas, including snow removal during winter.
- Follow assigned tasks, notify Maintenance Manager of low supplies, and maintain high standards of work performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations such as OSHA.
- Maintain quality standards for all processes and keep a detailed log of equipment and tools for inventory purposes.
- Coordinate external service providers and provide maintenance reports to the Manager regularly.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining Recycling Machinery (Compactor & Baler).
- Participate actively in facility safety programs.
