Position Summary::Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking chemistry tutors to work with students one-on-one or in small groups in support of foundational and general chemistry courses. Professional tutors must be knowledgeable in their field and have a strong academic background in their subject area. Peer tutors must have taken advanced courses in their field, earning no lower than a B, and have an overall GPA of at least 3.0.
The Tutoring Center is open Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Hours will vary within this schedule.
This position posting is hiring Primarily for North Campus in Salisbury, NC, but will accept applications for interest on other campuses. This position will start in the Fall 2024 semester. Applications will start being reviewed on July 1.
