Summary
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program.
You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.
Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

This announcement is an "Open Continuous" vacancy announcement to allow for current, permanent employees of the VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) to indicate interest in current (and future) Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist vacancies.

The practice of anesthesia is a recognized specialty of both nursing and medicine.
Anesthesiology is the art and science of rendering a patient insensible to pain by administration of anesthetic agents, the use of related drugs, and the performance of related procedures.
Anesthesia and anesthesia-related care represent those services that anesthesia professionals provide upon request, assignment, and referral by the patient's physician or other health care provider authorized by law, most often to facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
In other instances, the referral or request for consultation or assistance may be for management of ventilatory problems or the management of acute or chronic pain.
CRNA's practice according to state statues, regulation, and VA institutional policies.The CRNA is authorized to perform routine duties on a regular, repetitive basis. These duties may be performed after specific prior discussion with the supervising physician. The CRNA works with an anesthesiologist in the performance of duties
Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards
