    Nuclear Medicine Technologist We are looking for a dynamic Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our new Nuclear Medicine department at Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy.

    This Casual Part Time #position will be for#weekdays,##8-16#hours per week, day shift.# NO WEEKENDS, NIGHTS or HOLIDAYS.

    Job Details:

    Must be Nuclear Medicine registered either through NMTCB or ARRT BCLS required Has training in NM studies such as Nuclear Stress Test, Bone Scans, HIDA Scans, Lung scans, Thyroid Scans, Liver Scans, and Brain Scans Prepares facilities in accordance with procedural requirements; calibrates equipment as required by the institution.

    Calculate, measure and record radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used and disposed, using computer and following physician#s prescription. Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals orally or by injection or inhalation. Starts patient IV#s.

    Explaining the imaging procedure to patients, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort while placing them in the appropriate position for scanning.

    Accomplish computer processing and imaging enhancement. Provides images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation. Monitoring the departments daily, monthly, and quarterly QC under the guidelines of the NRC.     Nuclear Medicine Technologist

    CPT position to include weekdays in our Nuclear Medicine Department at Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, and Hoke campuses. Montgomery will be the primary (home) campus with at least 8-16 scheduled hours per week.

    If needed, you may be asked to work at another one of the Firsthealth Nuclear Medicine departments at the campuses mentioned above.
