We are building the most accurate representation of the Earth for various industries, including defense & intelligence, climate & environment, industrial monitoring, supply chain analysis, and financial markets.

    Maxar is actively seeking a passionate, strategic, and customer-centric Product Marketing Manager to join the Go-To-Market and Sales Enablement team. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for messaging, positioning, and marketing strategy for Maxar's robust product and services portfolio. The Product Marketing Manager leads the creation of content that speaks to our target audiences, resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful. Our customers span the USG, International Defense and Intelligence and Commercial Sectors. The ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits is crucial for this role.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Work closely with product management and technical teams to understand and translate technical and product features to benefits and solutions-focused messaging
    • Translate that messaging into creative and high-impact customer-facing marketing materials that communicate the unparalleled benefits of the Maxar Product Portfolio
    • Assist in the go-to-market execution of new product releases - Ensure sales and customers are aware of and understand new features
    • Plan and execute new product launch activities leveraging modern marketing strategies
    • Create campaigns across the entire buyers journey, from initial acquisition, nurture, conversion and retention
    • Create sales enablement tools, demo scripts, web content, videos, customer-facing pitch decks, blogs, emails campaigns, social messaging and more
    • Gather and analyze competitive data, create and maintain sales-facing competitive battlecards for key competitors
    • Support the creation of sales and channel enablement materials to ensure their on-going ability to sell and support these products, as well as be able to up-sell and cross-sell related offerings

    Requirements

    • BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred
    • Experience in remote sensing, GIS, or relevant industry is preferred
    • 5-7+ years product marketing experience in technology-focused, growth-oriented companies
    • Experience in and with product management and product development
    • Demonstrated knowledge of product marketing best practices and modern marketing strategies, such as marketing automation and digital channels
    • Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams including: sales, marketing, business development and product management
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects simultaneously to deliver on time
    • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written

    Ability to be flexible and work independently and in teams

    Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidates unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

    $74, $122,000.00 annually. Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
