Independence, IA $16.00 to $18.50 per hour SummaryUnder the direction of the Dietary Manager:

Responsible for all aspects of meal preparation, meal service, and overall food quality according to the planned menu, resident preferences, and physician-ordered therapeutic diets and plans of care Demonstrates appropriate sanitation and infection control practices to meet state and federal regulations Oversees the general kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary ManagerQualifications / Requirements Quantity food preparation experience in a healthcare setting preferred Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonableAdditional Information

Job Type:
Part-TimeShift/Schedule: Rotating Shifts - 5:30a-1:30p and 11:30a-7:30p, Every Other Weekend and Three (3)

Holidays/yr; Flexible SchedulingWage Range*:
$16.00/hr-$18.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay:
$0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years2nd/

Evening Shift Differential:
