    Responsibilities

    Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Lehi, UT. This role entails the gathering and analysis of requirements for new enhancements.


    Summary:

    As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with other teams, taking complete ownership of enhancements until seamless transition into production, encompassing thorough documentation.

    It is crucial to comprehend, recreate, and resolve reported problems or issues promptly and independently.

    Adherence to software development best practices and standards is imperative, and a continuous improvement in coding skills with emerging technologies is anticipated.

    Your active participation in project-related meetings and discussions is also expected.

    Requirements

    Over 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, specializing in large datasets and employing data science methodologies
    Extensive hands-on experience (3+ years) with AWS cloud services, specifically SageMaker, S3, EC2, EMR, RDS, Airflow, and Redshift
    Demonstrated expertise with data visualization tools, including Power BI and AWS QuickSight, with more than 3 years of experience
    Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
    Proficient in SQL-based database technologies (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, Postgres), encompassing stored procedures, functions, and triggers, with over 3 years of experience
    Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala


    The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

    We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.

    Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.

    This range may be modified in the future.

    We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

    $85,000 - $95,000 per year
