- Work on production line, pay attention to instructions from supervisor/line lead who directs the flow of work ensuring the pace meets expectations
- Monitor metrics as assigned (production measurements)
- Communicate any defects or other problems to supervisor/line lead using data. Clearly describes the defect in detail so that improvement can be implemented.
- Responsible for meeting customer expectation of performance, quality, OTD, etc.
- Responsible for ensuring that all production material is available on the line.
- Responsible for working 5S on the line at all times enforcing best practice.
- Complies with required use of Personal Protective Equipment (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves, etc.)
- Participates in Operational Excellence Processes (Continues Improvement Events, RIE's)
- Complies with scheduled work hours and Attendance Policy
- All other duties assigned by Manager
- Requires lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Requires standing for 8 to 10 hours per day
- Use of air and electric power tools
- Ability to work harmoniously with diverse range of people
- Ability to work in non-air-conditioned environment
