- Conducts and/or participates in daily maintenance of area. Obtains, organizes and assigns work to technicians and electricians daily while working in conjunction with maintenance and operations teams
- 50% of time will be spent on communications, computer work,
- Ability to coordinate own efforts with the efforts of others. Recognizes priority
- May be asked to participate in equipment failure analysis, develop findings, draw conclusions, make recommendations and prepare reports
- Will have contributions, although limited, to the design of engineering projects, but can be asked to participate in execution of projects
- Is responsible for meeting assignments within time, budget and constraints
- Applies theories, concepts, and techniques and applies a working knowledge
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changes in the daily work plan based on changing needs
- Works on a wide range of troubleshooting problems; uses knowledge of the
- Gains recognition from peers for gaining knowledge in the power and controls field
- Works with process engineers and production personnel. Will have contacts
- Work plans are developed for area PM's and are reviewed for accuracy, completeness and timeliness
- Reports to Plant Power & Controls Engineer but may be under the working
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical supervision and instructions is one of the indications that the individual is ready for promotion
- A person should demonstrate the ability to be promoted from this level in 0 to 2 years
- Experience alone will not qualify or disqualify an individual for promotion
- During the first one to two years, Power & Controls Resource I persons will receive a strong foundation of hands- on experiences and technical assignments which will prepare them for future responsibilities with the potential for opportunity for advancement in the maintenance group
- Entry to this position requires an AS Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Or a minimum of 5 years experience in equivalent tradesman role
