    Shop Pipe Welder Job Description

    A Shop Pipe Welder works on welding and fabricating materials using various kinds of equipment.

    The job involves regular attendance, preparedness for scheduled shifts with proper PPE, daily shift validations, active involvement in the Behavioral Safety Process, and other essential tasks such as laying out parts, assembling pipes, cutting threads, inspecting welds, and performing assigned tasks by Foreman.

    In order to be successful in this role one must have ability to read write English comprehend communicate instructions see details at close range quickly move hand hand grasp manipulate assemble objects work team environment detail oriented organized knowledge Stop Work Authority complete training behavioral safety process 3 years industry experience knowledge tools. Physical demands include lifting pulling jerking grasping raising lowering squatting twisting bending reaching stooping kneeling pushing carrying supporting body positions supine seated standing.
