Job DescriptionTHE WORK
As a Field Supplier Quality Engineer you will perform Quality oversite activities at local suppliers.
You will be the primary point of contact for suppliers, local source inspectors, sourcing and program requests to ensure product delivered is compliant to Lockheed processes and procedures.
This position will also serve as Lockheed RMS counterfeit avoidance lead IAW DFARs and Past Experience with Counterfeit prevention and detection techniques is highly desired.
This position also Collaborates with internal quality, engineering and manufacturing functions and suppliers to ensure quality standards and product requirements are met.
Performs surveillance ensuring supplier's conformance to company and program requirements including industry special processes. This position does include travel to Lockheed supply chain and their sub tiers to assess their process and procedures.
This position requires physical activity such as bending, climbing ladders, and ability to be on your feet multiple hours per day to perform inspections or production oversight when necessary.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

Colorado Pay StatementPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $78,500 - $150,400 .

Non-represented full-time employees:
accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
