    Duties


    • Serve as a senior analyst in direct support of the Deputy director,196th IN-BDE JPMRC Senior Commander.
    • Execute a major segment of the HQ, 196th IN-BDE JPMRC organizational budget or a total budget for one or more funds.
    • Review and edit budget estimates and requests appropriate allotment for subordinate staff elements within HQ, USARPAC to ensure proper execution of the units spend plan.
    • Analyze trends and projects funding necessary for anticipated requirements.
    • Allocate funds to individual activities/ functional areas based on an analysis of activity budget estimates, historical expenditures, projected workload, and approved funding

    • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
    • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
    A background investigation and credit check are required.


    • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
    • During rotational exercises, the employee is required to work a flexible duty hours which includes - weekends, holidays, and shift work consistent of10-12 hours days.

    Specialized Experience:
    One year of specialized experience which includes formulating and executing an organizations budget; reviewing and analyzing budget requests; and providing financial advisory recommendations in accordance with budget policies and regulations
    This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11)

    • This position is subject to Temporary Duty (TDY) through-out the Pacific AOR to include countries West of the International Date Line, that employee is deployed and work in austere and remote field conditions in support of maneuver training exercises as part of a forward support training package
    Deployments are to other training areas
    In the event of a deployment, the employee must continue to perform assigned duties to support the mission requirements until relieved by proper authority, or the mission is complete

    The employee may be required to live and work in tents or shelters while on deployment and may be expose to hazardous conditions.
