We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist at NCG Associates, you will play a crucial role in performing high-quality MRI scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

    Responsibilities

    • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients
    • Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during the scanning process
    • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results
    • Ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
    • Administer contrast agents as needed for enhanced imaging
    • Demonstrate proficiency in various MRI techniques and protocols
    • Accurately document patient information and scan results in electronic medical records
    • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
    • Continuously expand knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities

    Requirements

    • Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
    • Certification as an MRI Technician from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • State licensure as an MRI Technician
    • Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience Experience
    • Thorough understanding of MRI scanning techniques, protocols, and safety measures
    • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
    • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
    • Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

    Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

    Hours per Week: 40 Hours

    Shift and Time: 8 Hour Days M-F
