POSITION OPEN ANNOUNCEMENT

Interactive Multimedia Instructor

General Description: The interactive multimedia instructor at Huber Heights City Schools will provide instructional activities which are consistent with the objectives of the interactive multimedia curriculum and the MVCTC in general. The instructor will direct the learning experiences of the students, including skill development, human relations, and the leadership qualities which are necessary to obtain gainful employment. Business Professionals of America (BPA) is an integral part of the curriculum and the instructor will be expected to guide the BPA program. The information interactive multimedia instructor will report to the satellite supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Must meet all the requirements governing teacher education and licensure. Must have or be eligible for a career technical IT license is required.
2. Must possess interest in young people.
3. Possess good knowledge of software, including but not limited to the Adobe Suite.
4. Possess good knowledge of Apple computers, and video/photography equipment.
5. Ability to plan and implement lessons based on program and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned.
6. Ability to move about in classroom/lab to check student work and monitor behavior.
7. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, and parents.
8. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
9. Possess excellent human relations skills and serve as a role model for students.
10. Ability to make home and work site visits to monitor the student or confer with the employer as required.

Length of Contract: 185 days

Starting Date: school year

Salary: Per Teacher Salary Schedule
