    About Summit Sleep Services


    If you are an experienced Polysomnography Technician, Summit Sleep Services is looking for you! We are a top-tier sleep disorder facility accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) located in Summit, serving the greater Knoxville area. This is a PRN opportunity.



    We specialize in diagnosing and treating various sleep disorders such as:
    • Sleep Disordered Breathing
    • Insomnia
    • Restless Legs Syndrome
    • Periodic Limb Movement Disorder
    • Shift Work Disorder

    Responsibilities


    • Perform equipment calibrations and maintenance on polysomnographic equipment.
    • Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to identify needs and establish testing parameters.
    • Complete pre and post-study forms for patient data collection.
    • Orient patients to the sleep lab environment and explain testing procedures.
    • Prepare patients for testing by reviewing charts, applying monitoring electrodes, and ensuring data integrity.
    • Follow procedural protocols for various sleep studies.
    • Monitor data acquisition, document observations, and implement necessary interventions.
    • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

    Qualifications


    EDUCATION:

    Must be a graduate of an approved polysomnography technical program or equivalent.


    EXPERIENCE:
    Preference for candidates with sleep medicine training/experience.

    LICENSE:

    Must hold a Polysomnographic Technologist license in Tennessee and current CPR or BCLS certification.
