    Job Summary

    Amarillo College seeks a Part-Time Supplemental Instructor - Fire Protection Technology to instruct academic/continuing education courses within the fire academy/fire protection technology.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide supplemental classroom instruction for applicable programs
    • Plan, develop and present organized instructions and learning opportunities for students in accordance with approved course outlines
    • Complete administrative paperwork and performance evaluations in a timely manner
    • Participate in department meetings as assigned or required

    Qualifications

    • TCFP Instructor I Certification required; TCFP Instructor II Certification or higher and subject matter expertise preferred
    • Experience training individuals on TCFP skills and curriculum preferred

    Working Conditions

    This position operates in a professional office environment and requires flexibility to work varying schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
