DCF contract structure for Child Support Services (CSS) changed mid 2021 integrating some previous standalone customer service functions (sub programs) and other responsibilities into a single inclusive contract awarded to 2 contractors based on geography. In addition, CSS has a separate contract for the Kansas Payment Center (considered a sub program). The integration of more than one sub program into this recent contract structure requires greater management and program knowledge of more than one sub program to assure accordance with the federal program of Child Support, thus this position now provides direction to more internal and external associates (contractors) for implementation of program compliance with state and federal law. In addition, the agency has implemented goals, tasks and objectives for a holistic service approach including diversity, equity and inclusion strategies creating a new additional need for management of activities within CSS to assure CSS program knowledge has cross functional awareness in other DCF divisions and promotion of CSS activities (and content materials) internal and external to the agency. It has also increased initiatives for DEI, Domestic Violence and general program awareness requiring additional need for communications with customers, the public, and community partners educating them about the CSS program offerings. This position will work closely with the Management team and Director as well as DCF Communications.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: One year of experience in conveying information and analysis through composition of reports, articles and manuals and making formal presentations or achieving a common understanding or solution when there is dissension. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
