    Operate CT scanner to produce patient images. Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring adherence to established techniques and safety protocols. Monitor patient well-being during procedures, explain standard protocols, and address patient concerns.     About the Job:


    Under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, performs all CT procedures in accordance with ACR, State Regulations, and departmental policies.

    Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues.

    Technologists must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare, and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

    The CT Technologist can perform the duties of an ARRT Technologist as required in addition to performing CT duties.
