- Lead reliability efforts at the site, including conducting root cause analysis, developing failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and optimizing preventative maintenance plans.
- Implement and manage corrective actions for potential business interruptions and develop policies and procedures.
- Identify and rectify issues with problematic equipment ("Bad Actors").
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across the site and with other locations within the company.
- Act as the subject matter expert for flanged joint integrity and oversee management of change processes and documentation updates.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is mandatory.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience in the chemical or refining industry, with specific experience in managing both fixed and rotating equipment.
- Demonstrated understanding of equipment design, maintenance, and reliability practices, including thorough knowledge of ASME and API standards.
- CMRP Certification or a similar qualification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with SAP and PCMS.
