    At Full Circle Health, we are seeking a dedicated faculty member to join our team in Nampa, Idaho. As a key part of our Family Medicine Residency program, you will play a crucial role in training the next generation of family physicians to provide care in rural and under-resourced settings.

    We are a relatively new ACGME-accredited program with 6 residents per class, who graduated our first class in 2022. Our ideal candidate is a physician with broad scope inpatient experience, comfortable caring for adults, OB, and newborns, and passionate about medical education. Call frequency is approximately 1 in 7.

    Our unique practice setting combines outpatient work at a teaching health center with inpatient care at a small community hospital associated with a higher acuity health center. Outpatient work takes place in an FQHC that is also a level 3 PCMH. We prioritize team-based, patient-focused care and community engagement.

    Our clinical care team includes a psychologist, dietician, clinical pharmacist, care coordinators, and community health workers. Community medicine is a significant component of our training, so interest in this area is welcome. The Family Medicine Residency of Idaho is our sponsoring institution, with over 40 years of producing strong, rural physicians.

    Given our community's approximately 25% Spanish-speaking population, proficiency in Spanish is appreciated but not required. This position is available immediately. We offer a competitive academic salary, additional compensation for experience, and malpractice insurance. New graduates are welcome, and we will support faculty development through participation in University of Washington-sponsored fellowships as available. Part-time interests may be considered for the right candidate.

    The Role

    As a faculty member, you will divide your time between inpatient and outpatient care, with a combination of:

    • 3 half-days Clinic per week
    • 3 half-days Precepting per week
    • 2 half-days Admin time per week

    Average call frequency is 1 night per week at Nampa St. Lukes. You will also work 4 days per week, including call.

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO degree
    • Previous outpatient, primary care clinical experience preferred; other relevant clinical patient care experience may be considered
    • Unrestricted/conditional license to practice in the State of Idaho
    • Maintain Board certification by the American Board of Family Medicine
    • Possess unrestricted Board of Pharmacy registration, DEA registration, and necessary federal narcotics and controlled substance numbers and licenses
    • Maintain eligibility to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payment programs that contract with Full Circle Health

    Additionally, we require immunizations for all staff, including an annual influenza vaccine, and adhere to a tobacco-free workplace policy.
