Position OverviewNavistar has an excellent opportunity for an EXPAT
Finance Director for our
Commercial Operations in Mexico City.
The individual will be responsible for financial and truck pricing aspects of a $1 billion Truck and Services business including: leading financial reporting, financial planning, forecasting, tax compliance, treasury and finance operations in the region.
The position manages a team of 60 individuals including 7 direct reports andreports to the VP of Finance, Commercial Operations.
The position will be working closely with the VP, Commercial Operations, LatAm and be part of the Executive Team.
The position and business are based in Mexico City with limited opportunity for remote work.
Responsibilities
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support the business objectives Sales and Services businesses in Latin America.
Responsible for financial accounting, reporting, tax compliance, and financial operationsin the Latin America region (primarily Mexico)
Develop the operating plan/forecasts and analyze and explain variances.
Provide leadership, direction,and development of the Finance organization in Mexico
Partner with the the Vice President, Commercial Operations for, LatAm to drive improved market penetration and profitability. Assist in the transformation of the business from selling hardware to selling solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least 11 years of finance and budgeting experience
At least 6 years management experience
OR
Master's degree
At least 9 years of finance and budgeting experience
At least 6 years management experience
OR
At least 14 years of finance and budgeting experience
At least 6 years management experience
Additional Requirements
Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
Desired Skills
Proven experience developing annual operating and strategic plans and forecast
P&L experience a plus
Ability to work independently and handle multiple and changing priorities
Self-starter
Ability to work cross functionally
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
Fluency in Spanishis a plus
Willing to reside in Mexico City - possible expat assignment
Experience working in the manufacturingindustry, automotive industry a plus Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
