    Our client is a leader in neurology and sports medicine care. Our client is passionate about bringing quality health and well-being to their patients and families in the Hamilton area. They are looking to add an Athletic Trainer to their team.

    Salary/Hourly Rate:

    $65k DOE

    Position Overview:

    Our client is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer who will invest in the success of their patients. The Athletic Trainer will work alongside the Sports Medicine Physician and Physiatrist. The Athletic Trainer who is suitable for this position has exceptional interpersonal skills, and communication skills and is a problem-solver. The Athletic trainer must be commutable to Freehold, NJ, Lawrence, NJ, and Newton, PA.

    Responsibilities of the Athletic Trainer:

    • Work in coordination with physicians to assess patient conditions.
    • Independently initiate new patient work-ups and collaborate with the Sports Medicine Physician to devise patient care plans.
    • Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
    • Analyze injuries and tailor appropriate treatment and exercise programs.
    • Regularly reassess and modify treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes.
    • Oversee essential operations such as managing inventory, replenishing stocks, and managing supply orders.
    • Administer injections such as Orthovisc, Monovisc, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections, and medical Botox under the guidance of a Sports Medicine Physician.
    • Perform basic Phlebotomy draws for PRP.
    • Proficiently operate ultrasound machines.
    • Record patients' assessments, plans, and treatments in accordance with professional and regulatory guidelines.
    • Prepare patient charts, diagnostic imaging reports, consult notes, and labs ahead of patient appointments.
    • Handle clinical queries, prescription creation, refill approvals, diagnostic imaging, lab report reviews, and patient callbacks.
    • Communicate with other departments regarding scheduling, insurance queries, and bracing costs.
    • Assist in brace fittings for patients.
    • Establish collaborations with local schools to provide sports physicals and treatment for injured student-athletes.
    Qualifications for the Athletic Trainer:
    • ATC and CPR-certified.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a problem-solver.
    Education Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree is required.
